My morning and evening coffee spot.

Having lived in the city for almost 10 years, without a garden or really any private outdoor space, this still feels like the biggest blessing.

I get to study my Bible in the mornings accompanied by birdsong, and in the evening I watch the sunset as the bats feast over the fields.

The house is small, but cosy, comfortable, warm and generally gorgeous - and the outdoor space is a big compensation!

I'll miss this when the colder days of winter swing back around, but for now I'm making the most of the long, warm, sunny days - and the shade on my patio when the temperatures soar!
