💙 Invisible Disabilities Week | 18–24 October 2026

This week is all about recognising the disabilities and health conditions that we cannot always see. 👀

Not every disability is visible, and not every struggle is obvious. Many people live with chronic pain, fatigue, mental health conditions, neurological conditions and other invisible disabilities that can have a significant impact on everyday life.

💙 Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

At Disability Solutions, we want to help raise awareness, challenge misconceptions and remind everyone of the importance of understanding, patience and compassion. You never know what someone may be experiencing behind the scenes, so a little kindness and understanding can make a real difference.

This week, let’s listen without judgement, believe people when they share their experiences, and create a world where nobody feels they have to prove their disability to be understood.

✨ See the person, not just what you can see.

World Mental Health Day 💚

Today is a reminder that mental health matters.

Taking care of our mental wellbeing is just as important as looking after our physical health, and it’s okay to ask for help when we need it.

Let’s continue to talk, listen, support one another and help break the stigma around mental health.

✨ Annual General Meeting 2026! ✨

Today, our trustees, staff and volunteers came together to support Disability Solutions West Midlands at our Annual General Meeting.

We reflected on the past year, celebrated how far our charity has come and, most importantly, the many people we’ve been able to support along the way. 🫶

At the heart of everything we do is kindness — one of the most important things we stand by. We believe in supporting people with compassion, understanding and respect, and taking kindness forward in everything we do.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, volunteered with us, worked alongside us and helped make our work possible. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Here’s to us, our amazing team, taking kindness forward, and another year of making a difference! 🌟💙
