Bentilee Volunteers Bentilee Volunteers is a long standing charity for over 35 years supporting the people of Bentilee. We all have much to learn. We have very friendly I.T.

The Bentilee Volunteers Charity was set up during the 80's with the support of the City Council to encourage the residents of Bentilee to take pride in their communities and to be able to help those in need. We feel that we have been a very successful organisation and we are very grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years...and there are many of you! Bentilee Volunteers is a team eff

ort and it would never have succeeded if the people who live in the area hadn't supported it...and continue to do so...so thank you all. We always aim to involve as many different age groups as possible, so we have youth work as well as work with our older residents. There's also our Rainbow group specifically for people over the age of 25 who have a learning disability and they meet twice a week at the Pavilion. Our society needs to recognise that everyone can make a useful contribution to the life of a community and we do our very best to make everyone welcome. And talking about learning...we now have a computer suite next to our Community Charity Shop and The Shed Furniture Re-cycling projects...so you can wrestle with the internet while looking for a local bargain! volunteers to help you...perhaps you'd like to be one yourself? Anything is possible here. New volunteers are always welcome in all projects so call in and see us it you're interested.
