PUBLIC NOTICE

Please can everyone follow the rules of the park.
They are in place for everyone's safety.

It is very disheartening to hear that members of the public are being verbally abused when they have approached someone about ignoring the rules.
Unfortunately we are receiving a number of reports about this happening on a regular basis.
People should feel safe when they visit the park.

Please help to keep your park a safe and friendly place to be.

Just a quick note to say that we are aware that the park is in need of a grass cut.
Sadly our Treasurer passed away in March so the bank froze our account.
Now a New Treasurer has been appointed this can be dealt with and hopefully we will be able to pay to get the grass cut ASAP. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

As most of you will know by now Team Cara and Audley parish lost a team member last Tuesday when Mary Moss sadly passed away in her sleep.
Mary was one of the founders of Cara and influencers to the team, she was one of many who built Team Cara and what we all stood for.
Mary loved all children and believed they should be given the best and she made sure of it. Mary was the Treasurer of The Children of Audley Residents Association from the beginning until the end.
It was her passion to build a safe environment for children, adults and families of all ages and backgrounds.. and she did just that.
She loved our carnivals and one of her favourite parts was the balloons of peace as well as seen families having fun ♥️

Her funeral is to be held on Wednesday 19th April at Bradwell crematorium at 12pm.
As part of Mary’s final journey to the crematorium Team Cara has asked Mary’s family if Mary can drive past our park where Cara will release 100 white balloons in her honour.
If you would like to join us please meet us on Queen street at the park entrance at 10:45am. If you’d like to get yourself a white balloon please do so all that we ask is that it is biodegradable please.

Our thoughts and love go to Mary’s family and friends at this sad time.
Finally we would like to say goodbye and Thank you Mary for giving us your heart and loving memories for over 15years.

We are very disappointed to see that our container has been broken into again.

To say we are disappointed in the damage done on the park to equipment, signs, the storage container and the contents is an understatement.
This will cost us a substantial amount of money to fix or replace these items.
The police have been informed and are looking into who has done the damage. If anyone knows anything please inbox us so we can forward it on to the police. You will remain anonymous if requested.
It's such a sad thing to see at Christmas but especially after all the years of hard work and fundraising that has gone into transforming the play area.
Fingers crossed we can get the equipment fixed soon.

Sad times for Audley and the parish, the passing of our long life member Jeff.
As everyone will know he took matters into his own hands and dedicated 100's of hours been Queen Street's park warden.
From picking up litter to weeding or the odd bit of painting and just simply making sure that the people of Audley and the parish had the best.
Jeff will always have a place on our park and will always be in our hearts.
Rest in peace Jeff.

Sleep tight Audley's legend little Jeff xx
