The TRUTH about you.

You are special,
not because you are flawless,
but because within you lives
a light the world cannot replace.

Your kindness heals,
your strength inspires,
your story carries hope
in ways you may never fully see.

There has never been another you,
and there never will be.
You are a rare melody
in the song of humanity.

So rise again,
keep shining,
keep moving forward,
for the world is brighter
simply because you are in it.

And when the road feels heavy,
and silence clouds your sky,
remember: even the smallest star
was born to light the night.
Your journey still matters
so please, ride on.

"One Good Turn Deserves Another"

Obioma had always believed his mother’s words:

“Kindness is never wasted.”

But on the evening the rain fell harder than anyone could remember, those words were tested.
The market had closed early. Traders rushed home, protecting their goods from the storm. Obioma balanced a basket of unsold fruit on his head as muddy water splashed around his feet. Thunder rolled across the sky.
That was when he saw him.

An old man stood alone beside a broken wooden cart stuck deep in the mud. His clothes were soaked, and his hands trembled as he tried to push the heavy load forward. People passed him without stopping. Some looked away. Others pretended not to notice.

Obioma hesitated.
If he stopped to help, he would get home very late. His mother would worry. Yet something about the old man’s tired eyes made him put down his basket.
“Let me help you,” Obioma said.
The old man looked surprised.
Together they pushed the cart through the slippery road while rain beat down on them. It took nearly an hour before they finally reached a lonely house at the edge of the village.

Breathing heavily, the old man reached into his pocket.
“Take this,” he said.
Obioma stepped back quickly. “No, sir. I only wanted to help.”
For a long moment, the old man stared at him strangely, as though trying to remember his face.
Then he smiled.
“One day,” he said quietly, “you may discover that kindness travels in circles.”

Before Obioma could ask what he meant, lightning flashed across the sky, and the old man slowly closed the door.
Obioma never saw him again.
Until six months later.

It was just before dawn when someone began knocking loudly on Obioma’s door. His mother sat up in fear.
The knocking grew harder.
“Obioma!” a deep voice called from outside. “Open the door immediately!”
Obiiyfroze.
He knew that voice.

Incredible Lessons from the Saints

Women & Family Life – Saint Monica

Imagine a mother watching her son drift further and further away from everything she taught him.
Saint Monica lived with that pain for years. Her husband was difficult, and her son Saint Augustine chased pleasure, pride, and wrong choices. Many would have given up in frustration.
But Monica did not. She prayed through tears. She waited through disappointment. She trusted when there was no visible sign of change.
Then one day, the impossible happened, Augustine turned back to God and became one of the greatest saints and thinkers in Christian history.
Lesson: Some battles are won not with shouting, but with patience, prayer, and a heart that refuses to quit.

What if the prayer you are tired of praying is closest to being answered?

How long can a heart keep loving when it sees no change?
