Queens Park Partnership Queens Park is where the magic happens. Instagram: Twitter: Queens Park is located in the Longton district of the Stoke-on-Trent.

It has an area of 45 acres (or 18.2 hectares). It was officially opened in 1888 and much of its original character of winding tree-lined carriage drives and paths, shrubberies and some original features, including a bandstand, can be still seen today. It has a very individual character, being one of the city's heritage parks, and houses a range of buildings including the clock tower and three bowling pavilions. It is famous for its trees, horticulture and lakes. It is a major lung of fresh air and green space in an otherwise densely developed city. I know there's been a thanks post already, but I, (Teresa), would also like to offer thanks to people who've been involved in making today's carnival a success. So.....the Queens Park Partnership team, (Sue, Lilian, Bernie, Bill, Alan, Dan) The café team, (Dani, Tim, Paul, Pete, Ellie, Jay, James, Asam, Gail, Amanda, Julie) who also provided the first aid cover and stewarding. Greyhound Gap for hosting the dog show, (and Julia particularly for putting me in touch with the right people when we looked like having no music!). Urban Wilderness, (now Wild Edge Arts). The team from the Sir Robert Peel. Liz at Tesco Longton. The Hanley park grounds keepers, (who supported on a Sunday in a park they don't usually staff). Dresden Scouts for the archery experience. All of the spouses, kids, grandkids and assorted other family members press ganged into helping. Warwicks Funfair, and all of the stallholders. Staffordshire Police. Three Minute Warning Band, Sparkles K-pop Show, the karaoke and DJ, for the days entertainment. Apologies if I've missed anyone, but you were all incredible.
