We know, we know… Christmas before Halloween! 🎃🎄 But with two festive events to look forward to, we couldn’t keep the news under wraps any longer!

🎄 Christmas Lights Switch-On – Friday 27th November
Join us The Bush at Brown Edge from 5.30pm for craft and food stalls, festive cheer and a special visit from Santa. The lights will be switched on at 7pm!

🎅 Brown Edge Santa Sleigh – Monday 21st December
Santa and his helpers will be travelling around the village from 5.30pm, bringing Christmas magic to local children and families. Route details will follow, so keep an eye on this page and the Parish News.

🍂 WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY! 🍂

The Brown Edge Allotments Fruit and Veg Show was a fantastic success, with an incredible display of high-quality home-grown produce. A huge thank you to the allotment holders, who also generously donated an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables and beautiful flowers to our auction.

Thanks to The Bush at Brown Edge for hosting us, it was wonderful to see so many people come together to enjoy the auction and support this village tradition. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £800+! 🎉

The money raised will be donated to local groups at the end of Queen Theadora’s reign, helping to support our village community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, helped, attended and placed a bid — we couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

🎃 Next up for Queen Theadora is something spooktacular for Halloween…

🍂 IT’S HARVEST FESTIVAL DAY! 🍂

There’s a wonderful afternoon of community activity taking place at The Bush at Brown Edge today!

🍎 From 12.30pm, Brown Edge Allotments will be holding their annual Fruit and Veg Show. Please pop in, admire their fantastic home-grown produce and support the talented growers in our village.

🔨 Then, from 4pm, join us for our Harvest Festival & Auction, where you can bid on locally grown produce and lots of brilliant donated items.

💷 Please remember that the auction is cash only.

Another fantastic Brown Edge Carnival & Well Dressing has come to an end, and our well boards have now been carefully packed away until next year. ❤️

We've also spent some time giving the areas around Sytch Well, Sandy Lane Well and Jobs Pool Well a well-deserved tidy-up.

A massive thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who generously give their time each year to help preserve this wonderful tradition for everyone in our community. We couldn't do it without you! 💪🛠️

Brown Edge is incredibly proud to have such inspiring young people representing our village. Congratulations to our new St Anne's Church Queen, Theadora, and a heartfelt thank you to our retiring Queen, Evie. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to Brown Edge have been truly outstanding.

Over the last year, on behalf of Brown Edge Carnival & Well Dressing, Evie has raised an incredible £1436 for our community:
