CEO Update
At our last Trustee Meeting, there was a real sense of encouragement about where Walk Ministries is today and where we are heading.
The discussions focused on the future of the charity, strengthening our services, supporting our staff, developing new opportunities and ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of support to the people we serve.
One thing that stood out throughout the meeting was the recognition of the impact being made every day across Walk.
Every day, men arrive at Walk looking for hope, stability and a chance to rebuild their lives. Every day, our team walks alongside them, helping them overcome addiction, move forward from homelessness, reconnect with family, find purpose and build a better future.
Whilst good governance, strong finances and effective systems are important, they are simply the foundations that allow us to fulfil our mission. The heart of Walk has always been people.
As we approach our 10-year anniversary as a registered charity, I am incredibly proud of what has been achieved by our staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters and residents.
Together, we have seen lives transformed, families restored and futures rewritten.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Walk Ministries and the work we do across Stoke-on-Trent and beyond.
The future is bright, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
