Do you manage or work with volunteers?

The Volunteer Managers Network gives people working with volunteers in and around Stoke-on-Trent an opportunity to share ideas, network, and provide mutual support.

You don’t have to be a ‘Volunteer Manager’ to join our network. If your role includes working with and supporting volunteers within your organisation, whether paid or voluntary, this is the network for you!

Community Remembrance Day volunteers at Tunstall Memorial Gardens

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers who are willing to lend a hand and help create a positive experience for visitors. A willingness to work as part of a team and support local heritage is all that is needed.

Looking for your next volunteering opportunity?

Re-Form Heritage are on the look out for Litter picks at Hanley Cemetery.

Join fellow volunteers for a community litter pick at Hanley Cemetery on Friday 2nd October, 10:30-11:30am, organised together with Friends of Hanley Park and other local stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity to help spruce up the cemetery ahead of Remembrance Day and meet others involved in caring for local green spaces. No experience necessary.

A community meal will follow at 12pm at Asha for anyone who'd like to join. Meet at Hanley Park Community Hub

🏃‍♂️We are looking for amazing volunteers to help marshal the course on race day. Marshals will be located out on the route and help by cheering on the runners and walkers, informing vehicles that the road ahead is closed due to the race and being a point of contact for participants and spectators if needed.

England's biggest FREE festival continues today at the Dudson Centre today and we invite you to come along.

Our Heritage Open Days exhibition "From Clay to Community: Discovering Everyday Histories" charts global events, local developments in -on-Trent and daily tasks for those on the factory floor.

Step into the everyday lives of the people who made Dudson, from the opening of the factory on Hope Street in 1810 to the thriving community hub we see today. Get the full experience by visiting our museum housed in the Grade 2 listed bottle oven and enjoy a cuppa or bite to eat in our friendly cafe. ☕

And if you can't make today then tomorrow's free family fun day offers clay, craft, a Detective Dudson quiz and tea with Potteries author Arnold Bennett.🫖
