Another victory for our Ten Pin Bowling team this time over Leek Rotary Club, it was a close-fought match ending in 308 Leek 383 Blyth Bridge. The Blyth Bridge team consisted of Mick, Brian, Richard and Tony.

Rotarians from Rotary District 1210 and beyond gathered last night at The Upper House, Barlaston, to celebrate John Sayer’s posthumous induction into the Arch Klumph Society, recognising the substantial legacy he left the Rotary Foundation. This is the first time anywhere in the world that someone has been posthumously inducted into the AK Society and a lot of the hierarchy of the Rotary International of Great Britain and Ireland were present, including Heather Stuart, Chair of the Board (previously called President) and a video message from Gordon McInally, past President of Rotary International ,John’s life was narrated and the impact of John’s legacy was highlighted locally, nationally and internationally.
