🌟 Volunteers Needed – Make a Difference with The Boys' Brigade! 🌟

Could you spare a couple of hours a week to help shape the lives of young people in our community?

The Boys' Brigade is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team. Whether you're great at sports, crafts, outdoor activities, or simply enjoy encouraging and supporting young people, we'd love to hear from you.

Volunteering with The Boys' Brigade is a rewarding opportunity to:

Last night our Junior section took part in a scavenger hunt in our church followed by a quick game of hide and seek 🕵🏼. We then made some Father's Day gifts. We finished the night off with some dodgeball 🏐

This week our Junior Section did a world cup themed program, we saw some of the world cups greatest goals 🥅. We played numbered football ⚽ and then did a flag quiz 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇧🇪🇦🇺. We have also drawn countries for the world cup and assigned them to the lads in the company.

Last night our Junior section took part in a quiz based on the Number 60. We also did a scavenger hunt in church, followed by dodgeball 🏐. We have some great themed activity nights planned for the next few weeks! So keep your eyes peeled 👀

We have no meeting this evening as it's half term! 🗓️We hope all our young people are enjoying the weather and staying safe in the sun ☀️ we will be meeting back next week.

Last night our Junior section did a themed program around summer and getting active and staying safe in the sun ☀️. We did a little talk about sun cream 🧴 and why it's so important to apply and use it regularly when outside! We then did some sports day games ⛹🏼 to get us into the summer mood, even if the weather has a different idea. ☔

This week our Junior section made some balloon 🎈 chairs 🪑 that had to support the weight of one of their team mates. As you can see this didn't work too well there were a few pops 💥 we then did some classic Dodgeball. The lads showed great teamwork skills and some good design skills as well!

Last night our Junior section took part in a Sir David Attenborough themed program. We did a quiz about wildlife 🐘🦒. We did a quiz about Sir David Attenborough where they had to answer true or false questions, tied in with a game of connect four. To round out the evening we did a rock, paper, scissors ✂️ Jenga team game. As always a few games of dodgeball 🏐.
