59th Newchapel had an incredible time at Staffordshire Scouts Beavers 40th and Cubs 110th Birthday Bash at the National Forest Adventure Farm this weekend!

24 hours of birthday fun and celebrations surrounded by nearly 1000 other scouts. An amazing weekend, enjoyed by all 🦫🎂

Last night our Beavers 🦫 took part in our skills night

They practiced the Recovery ❤️‍🩹 Position
Learnt how to make a cup of tea or coffee ☕️
Ironed their neckerchiefs
Learnt to tie some knots 🪢
And learnt how to safely light a candle 🕯️

🎉✨ Just a reminder that our Family Fun Day is THIS SUNDAY! ✨🎉

We can’t wait for a full day of fun, food, animals and activities for all ages 💛

🕦 Sunday - 11:30am – 4:00pm

Expect:
🐑 The Animal Barn
🏰 Bouncy castles & obstacle course
🍕 Pizza, burgers & food vendors
🛍️ Lots of amazing stalls
🎨 Face painting
🏹 Archery + axe throwing
🍭 Sweet treats
🍹 Bar area
🐶 Fun dog show
✨ And loads more family fun throughout the day!

Its free entry into the family funday but of course remember that attractions and activities, including the Animal Barn, bouncy castles and stalls, do have their own individual prices 😊

It’s set to be such a lovely day and we can’t wait to see everyone there 🥳☀️

Squirrels 🐿️ had a fantastic night on Wednesday! We were joined by Kayleigh, who came along to share with the Squirrels 🐿️ what it’s like to be a nurse on Critical Care. They all then had a go at being a nurse! Ensuring they could wash their hands properly, get dressed in the PPE, and bandage up their patients! Thank you Kayleigh! It was a super evening 👩‍⚕️

⚜️ Platinum Expedition ⚜️

Really proud of our Explorers this weekend on their Platinum expedition.

They all did a great job, working well as a team to get to each check point on time and cooking meals like chilli and pasta along the way.

We’re looking for adult volunteers to join our Squirrel Scout Team (ages 4–6)!

No experience required – full training and support will be provided.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help young people learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. It’s incredibly rewarding and makes a real difference in your local community.

🎩Monopoly!
What an amazing night for the Explorers. Jack, one of the Explorer leaders, ran giant monopoly which had personalised properties, taxes, jail, chances and community chests!

The Explorers formed their own teams and all came dressed up for the occasion! Well done to the monopoly men on their win!
