our shadow isn't having much luck here at the kennels at all :( shadows friend has been re-homed and shadow needs his turn too!, this happy go lucky lad really needs a loving home!

PENDING MEET AND GREET :)

meet freya, freya is a 6 year old x staffie and freya has come into us via the warden service due her owner not being very well, sadly her owner will not be able to care for her after hospital and has asked us to find her a loving home.

we have been told that freya is house trained, been around older children but no for living with other pets and that freya trusts women more.

freya has now been in kennels with us a few weeks now, when freya first came into us she was very shy and reserved, freya soon gained trust with staff and always comes to us for a fuss or when she is called.

in the kennels freya is extremely clean and will do everything outside, she is good on the lead but she can have a slight pull being a larger staffie type, freya also walks past the other dogs here without issue.

freya is now needing a furever home where she can built trust with her owner and possibly be around her owner during the day to keep her compant, freya will also need a home without pets and a quiet home.

Meet chester, chester is a 7 year old x beagle, chester did come in for rehoming with his friend finn but we did have to seperate them due to finn wanting to hump chester constantly :( finn has been successfully rehomed.

we have been told that chester is house trained, good with children, other dogs, travels well but no for cats.

since buster has been with us he has been ever such a good boy in the kennels, he is extremely clean, fantastic on the lead and overall a very good boy for us. we have noticed that buster loves company and would require an owner to be around for him most of the time, buster can also bark here when he needs attention and company.

this lovely fuss pot really needs a loving family home where he can get all that attention and exercise that he needs, we cannot fault him here at all, he is always very happy and willing to lap up attention!.

Pendkng meet and greet saturday

meet lady, lady is a 3 year old female malinois, lady has come into us for re-homing through no fault of her own at all.

we have been told that lady is house trained, good with other dogs, children and travels well, but she can be sick if she has just been fed. lady also prefers women to men.

since lady has been with us she has been very quiet in her kennel and she has also been extremely clean for us also. out of the kennel lady likes to run around and explore but she doesn't bother with toys at all, she would rather follow you around. we have noticed that lady knows her commands very well and is a very good girl for us.

we think lady would be suited to a home where she can get lots of attention and exercise and mainly be around females. we have also been told she is good on the lead and will follow her owner around. we do believe she would make a lovely companion for someone!, lady is also the most relaxed mali that we have had here so far!

children 8+ other dogs dependent upon a sucessful meet and greet.

PENDING MEET AND GREET SATURDAY 11AM

meet chief, chief is an approx 15 month old male german shepherd and chief came in via the dog warden service and he has not been re-claimed, we have given chief his name.
since chief has been with us in kennels he has been a good boy for us and he is very clean in his kennel here and does everything outside, chief is also good on the lead and not reactive to the other dogs when he walks past them.

when chief has playtime or spends time with staff he is a good boy and loves to play, he is also very treat orientated which can help with training, we do believe also with the right training chief can succeed himself!

overall he is a good boy here who is still very young and in need of some training still, chief can jump up quite a bit and he is having help to stop this.

we think cheif would suit an older home with an experienced owner with time and patience where he can get all the training and exercise that he needs.

PENDING NEW OWNER COLLECTION- please read my write up carefully.

meet our boletus 🍄 seeker lola, lola is a 15 month old female cockapoo, lola has come into us for rehoming through no fault of her own at all.

We have been told lola is house trained, good with other dogs, older children, travels well but cats is unknown, however lola has been known to chew door frames/skirting boards.

Since lola has been with us she has been extremely clean in her kennel, good on the lead, playful and very friendly.

Lola is full of energy and loves to be outdoors and get her exercise steps in! Lola loves zoomies and above all exploring the local moor to us! Lola is packed full of energy and will also demand us to take her out and play with her! Lola doesn't hold back on telling us!

We have been told lola can be a little boisterous for small children and will need plenty of mental stimulation and exercise.

We think lola would suit a family with another dog to go on zoomies and lots of adventures with! We think especially a family that likes lots of walks and adventures too!.
We will be however asking that her new owner/owners are homeowners due to her nibbling of door frames/skirting boards, we do believe this can be trained out with plenty of routine, mental stimulation and exercise.

meet monkey, monkey is a male x cane corso and monkey is approx 3 years old, monkey came in via the dog warden service and has not been re-claimed, monkey also came in very underweight with some skin injuries, he is now on the mend :)

ever since monkey has been in kennels he has been very good for us, he is clean in his kennel and does everything outside, however monkey fears over the head hand gestures and does cower :( monkey prefers you to get to his level at the minute before he feels safe to approach and trust you, monkey has never shown aggression here at the kennels and just enjoys to bound around the pen and enjoy himself.

we think monkey would suit an older family who can spend a lot of time playing with him and giving him the exercise that he craves, he loves attention and fusses off us and of course belly rubs too, we think monkey will settle very well when he gains his trust of his new owner/family
