the city dogs home is always extremely grateful for any donations towards the dogs, we never ask for donations, maybe the odd blanket request when we are getting very low on them.
we can use towels, bedding, fleeces, covers or anything dog related ie toys, harnesses, leads etc, the general public supply us with a lot of bedding and food which keeps the dogs with constant warmth and never run out food. a lot of visitors donate bowls, harnesses, coats which can be given to new owners starting out with their new dog which really helps them too!, we can and always find a use for anything! however we cannot use duvets due to disposing of them and if they swallow the insides of them if they get ripped.
thank you letters for donations can be given by the manager or the managers assistant, (female staff). only upon request. we do store anything donated in our specially built shed so we can use them when they are needed, toys and treats are given out daily and bedding is changed daily also, visitors can also give out treats and if they do not have any we can issue treats to be given to the dogs!
again we would like to thank everyone who keeps donating and our regular donators too! (thank you!)
