***Update*** white van has now gone, however the owner of the white van has now replaced it with a black van. Please can you collect the black van as the carpark is a private car park and not a public one. Thank you.

*** Polite Notice – Village Hall Car Park***

Please note that the Village Hall Car Park is a private car park, intended primarily for those attending functions and authorised activities at the Hall. However during the week to help reduce parking congestion at the doctors, library, the church and school times we encourage people to ultisilise the carpark.

We are still experiencing instances where vehicles remain on the car park after the final hirers and their attendees have left. Any vehicles still on the car park when we come to lock up will be locked in. Please be aware there is no set closure time, as this varies each day depending on bookings.

As the Village Hall is managed by volunteers once the carpark has been secured there is no one available to return and unlock it. The carpark will not be unlocked until the following day, where applicable.

🚫 PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB THE TREES IN THE VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK 🚫

Following a recent incident in Stafford, we’ve had a few recent incidents of people—especially children—climbing the trees around the car park. We need to remind everyone that this is extremely dangerous.

🌳 The branches are not safe to climb and can snap without warning
🚗 The trees are right next to moving vehicles, making falls even more risky
⚠️ A fall from even a low height can cause serious injury

We love seeing the local community enjoying the area, but please remind children to keep off the trees.
