I learned from Apostle Kwabena Agyapong - Kodua the Vice Chancellor of the Church of Pentecost that, we are not supposed to convert learners only but also we are supposed to convert systems as well.

The statement means that transforming education goes beyond just changing individual learners, but also requires altering the underlying systems and structures that support learning.

Converting learners refers to:

- Changing individual students' minds, attitudes, and behaviors through education
- Helping learners acquire new knowledge, skills, and perspectives

Examples:

- A student learns about environmental conservation and starts recycling and reducing waste
- A learner develops empathy and understanding through diversity and inclusion training

Converting systems refers to:

- Transforming the educational institutions, policies, and practices that support learning
- Changing the broader social, cultural, and political contexts that influence education

Examples:

- Implementing inclusive curriculum design and diverse representation in textbooks
- Reforming school policies to address bullying and promote safe learning environments
- Advocating for education policy changes to address systemic inequalities

By converting both learners and systems, we can create a more comprehensive and sustainable transformation in education, leading to a more just and equitable society.
