Work is progressing nicely on Day 2 of our exciting new project at Betty Rushton Community Garden! 💪

👷‍♂️👷‍♂️👷‍♂️ Day 1 – Accessible Community Polytunnel Project! 🚧🌱

And away we go! 🎉💪

Work has officially begun on our exciting new accessible community polytunnel at Betty Rushton Community Garden!

This fantastic project will see our existing greenhouses and polytunnel replaced with a brand-new, purpose-built accessible polytunnel, creating a more inclusive space where everyone can enjoy gardening, growing and connecting with nature. 🌿💚

We're incredibly excited to see this project get underway and can't wait to share the progress with you all!

Hi everyone 👋

We're feeling really excited today, we've been given a start date for the work to begin on our new polytunnel.

The work on the concrete base will begin on Tuesday 13th Oct and is estimated to take around 5 days (probably have to add weather permitting) to complete.

Unfortunately due to health & safety regulations we will be closing the Betty Rushton Community Garden until the works are complete, our sincere apologies to everyone who comes to the garden regularly, for this disruption.

We'd also like to apologise to all our neighbours around the garden for the extra noise that will come from the works but we assure you that the works will be done within normal working hours.
