Hi everyone

As of May 1st, 2026, the Culture Volunteer North Staffordshire CIC team will be taking a short hiatus (a small break).

During this time, we will not be posting any opportunities as we are unable to support our amazing volunteers.

When we are back, we will post the news on socials.

As most of you will be aware, Emma also works for Appetite. Emma's role with Appetite is not impacted by our little hiatus.

Meet Uchechi; one of Culture Volunteer NSs volunteers.
Uchechi joined us just in time for the People's Parade in 2025.

Unchechi enjoys volunteeering and finds the experience boosts her and gives her more confidence with each experience she completes.

*INCOMING VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY*.
Ford Green Hall are looking for volunteers to support their Easter program. There will arts and crafts, learning about the hall, trails and more.
Volunteers often help to set up and take down crafts, support with the delivery of crafts sessions, sign post volunteers and be a friendly face at the Hall.

More information is available-do let us know if you have a specific question.

Times: 12:30-3:30

Location: Ford Green Hall, Ford Green Road, Smallthorne.

Culture Volunteer North Staffordshire CIC is about empowering volunteers to make a difference not just to the organisations they give their time to, but to themselves too.

Volunteering is a powerful tool, and experiences can lead you down many paths you may not have considered before.

What we do would not be possible without of course, our supporters such as our current funders, Rewards for All and the continuous support from Stoke Creates.

We have had some amazing mentorship along the way (Gemma Davies, Susan Clarke and Rachel Adams). Thank you all.
We hope you are as proud as we are of the volunteers and how much positivity and amazingness they are spreading via Culture Volunteer.

But the most important and magical element of our work is you; OUR GLORIOUS VOLUNTEERS (yes, it's in caps as we are shouting this very loudly and very proudly).

Hello, Culture Volunteer North Staffordshire family. We have some news.
We are transitioning to becoming a CIC (that's a Community Interest Company).
This doesn't make any difference to what we do; it's more to do with funding and opportunities we can access.

We will still be working with our friends at Stoke Creates and the other wonderful organisations that have become like a family to us.

We have three Directors who will assist in guiding and shaping the organisation.

They are: Alliyah Dawud, Rachel Adams and Raseendeep Singh Devgon.

Emma Hobbs is, of course, a part of the team! And we have no plans of changing that.

Please join us in welcoming them onboard.

Volunteering opportunity incoming!

Our friends at Ford Green Hall will be hosting a week of fun during the February half-term and are looking for volunteers to help support the activities.

No prior experience is necessary, and you don't need to be a historian to participate.

We are awaiting further information; however, we know some of the tasks for the volunteers include assisting with arts and crafts, signposting and talking to the attendees.

The following volunteering opportunities are available:
16th February
17th February
18th February
19th February

Times: 12:30-3:30 PM

There is no limit to how many sessions you volunteer at (as long as volunteers are required).

New to volunteering? We think this is a great opportunity to start volunteering.
