We are very sorry to announce that the Beth Johnson Foundation Bereavement Friendship Project will close on 31st March 2025.

For the past 3 years, thanks to initial funding from NHS Charities Together and a continuation grant from The National Lottery Awards for All scheme, our project has provided 1:1 telephone support and peer group support opportunities for hundreds of bereaved people aged 50+ across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

The much needed and appreciated service has been hugely oversubscribed and we have received very positive feedback about the impact of our work. We are all very proud of the achievements of this project, and so very disappointed that we have to close.

However, we are happy to share that thanks to the ongoing support of our dedicated volunteers, whose assistance throughout the life of the project has been invaluable, our Hartshill Bereavement peer support sessions will continue here at BJF on the First Wednesday of the Month at 10.30am-12noon in our Community Room.

If you have any queries please contact the office on 01782 844036.
