At Freespirits, we support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs through fun, person-centred days in a safe, welcoming environment.

Activities, outings and creativity help build happiness, independence and belonging. 💚 Welcome to Freespirits – where every day is full of smiles, support, and a little bit of sparkle! ✨

We’re a friendly adult day centre open Monday to Friday, supporting amazing individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex care needs. From personal care to lunch, PEG and flush feeds – we’ve got it all covered with love and dignity. No two people are the same here, and that’s what makes us shine. We offer daily activities tailored to everyone’s interests, from sensory fun, baking, and life skills to getting creative with arts and crafts. On Wednesdays, we build confidence through arts and drama with the brilliant Kirsty from Kreative Foundations, and on Fridays, we get moving with fun, adaptable sports sessions led by the wonderful Sam from NAR Kollective. We also love exploring the community and putting on fantastic shows for families. At Freespirits, we’re more than just a service – we’re one big, happy, slightly quirky family 💛

🎃🍂 What a lovely pumpkin-picking outing our members had yesterday at Woore Fruit Farm!

Everyone enjoyed choosing their own pumpkins and getting into the autumn spirit. There were lots of smiles and lovely memories made along the way! 🧡

A special thank you to the lovely ladies in the café who couldn’t do enough for us. Your kindness and warm welcome made our visit even more special, and we really appreciated everything you did for us. ❤️

Thank you, Woore Fruit Farm, for a wonderful visit. We had a lovely time! 🎃🍁

💜💚 A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE Valdettes Vets!💚💜

After raising money for a friend and going above and beyond their target, the Valdettes Veterans kindly chose to share the extra funds and donated an amazing £500 to Freespirits! 🥰

We are so grateful for your incredible generosity and for thinking of us. 💜💚

Thank you! 💚

It’s been a few weeks since we last shared what we’ve been getting up to at Freespirits!

We’ve been keeping busy with lots of fun, creative and interactive activities.

Thread Art – creating colourful pictures on card.

Baking – making and enjoying a delicious apple crumble.

Parachute Fun – lots of movement, teamwork and plenty of smiles!

Makaton Bingo – putting our signs into practice while having fun together.

Deal or No Deal – putting our decision-making skills to the test in a fun game!

And of course, there’s been plenty more going on too!

It’s been lovely seeing everyone getting involved, trying new things and having fun together.
