What a busy and brilliant week we’ve had at Freespirits! 🌟

We’ve been keeping busy, keeping active, and most importantly, keeping the fun levels high! From stepping back in time to revive a classic 90s game show (cue the nostalgia! 📺), to dancing our way through movement to music sessions, we’ve certainly been on the go.

Our adventures also took us out into the community for some lovely walks, before we swapped trainers for tropical vibes and got creative making Hawaiian mocktails 🍍🌺🍹. To top it all off, we hit the bowling lanes and showed off some impressive strikes, spares, and plenty of team spirit! 🎳

It’s been a fantastic week full of laughter, friendship, new experiences, and lots of smiles. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

✨ We’ve been keeping busy and having lots of fun at Freespirits Day Centre! ✨

💇 Our pamper sessions were a big hit, with hair pampering leaving everyone feeling fabulous – and some staff couldn’t resist joining in too!

📸 We’ve been exploring different hobbies and took a trip through time to see how cameras have changed over the years.

🧀🍫 In baking, we whipped up some tasty cheese swirls and delicious Nutella twists.

🌞 We’ve made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed getting out and about whenever we could.

🔬 Our science session got everyone talking as we made predictions and tested which objects would sink or float. There were a few surprises along the way!

Lots of laughter, learning, and making memories together. We can’t wait to see what next week brings! 😊

🚤 Another Fantastic Day on the Beatrice Narrow Boat 🚤

Last week, some of our members enjoyed a wonderful trip on the Beatrice Narrow Boat. It was great for more of our members to have the chance to experience a relaxing day out on the water.

Everyone enjoyed taking in the beautiful canal scenery, spotting wildlife, chatting with friends, and making special memories along the way. The trip provided a lovely opportunity to get out into the community and enjoy something a little different.

A big thank you to the Beatrice Narrow Boat team for making the day so enjoyable. We had a fantastic time!

🌟 What We’ve Been Up To at Freespirits! 🌟

We’ve been keeping busy with lots of fun and engaging activities since our last update!

🕸️ We got creative by making a giant web using wool, working together to weave our creative masterpiece.

🥬 We sowed lettuce seeds and we’re delighted to see them already coming along nicely, with little green shoots beginning to poke through the compost!

🎉 Our bingo sessions have been full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition.

🎨 We enjoyed making a variety of creations with salt dough, using our imaginations and getting hands-on with different shapes and designs.

🌺 Our Hawaiian-themed sensory sessions were a big hit, exploring tropical sights, sounds, textures, and relaxing island vibes.

🎲 We played a roll-the-dice drawing game, where each dice roll decided a different part of a character. The results were hilarious, creative, and completely unique!

🎭 In Kirsty’s Confidence Through Drama session last week, we took our creative character drawings and transformed them into 3D creations. Everyone enjoyed seeing their ideas come to life and using a range of materials to build and decorate their unique characters.

It’s been wonderful to see everyone joining in, building confidence, developing skills, and most importantly, having fun together. We look forward to sharing more of our activities with you soon! 😊
