Important Update for YMCA Local Pantry Members

We'd like to thank all of our Pantry members for your continued support.
To help us respond to rising costs and continue providing a valuable service, we will be making a small change to our weekly membership fee. From July 1st, the membership fee will increase from £4.50 to £5.00 per week.

This small increase will allow us to improve the Pantry offer by providing a wider variety of stock, based on the products and items that members have told us they would like to see available.
We wanted to give everyone plenty of notice of this change so that members have time to prepare before the new fee comes into effect.

We remain committed to providing affordable access to quality food and household essentials, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support.

As the pub closes its doors, Sue chose to donate surplus food to help support local people rather than see it go to waste.

🌱 Keeping busy down at the YMCA allotment!

Residents, staff, members from VAST, and the City Gardeners team got stuck in at the YMCA allotment.

Together, they spent the day strimming, watering, weeding, tidying and preparing an area for a large polytunnel, which will help us grow even more fresh fruit and vegetables for members of Your Local Pantry.

During Volunteers' Week, it's a great reminder of the difference people can make when they come together. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to help keep the allotment growing! 💚
