🍂 AUTUMN BREAKFAST — CONNECTION. COLLABORATION. ACTION. 🍂

There’s something powerful about getting people in the same room who genuinely care about creating better opportunities for young people across Stoke-on-Trent. 🔥

Today Our Autumn SOTYC Breakfast hosted by The Village hub & sanctuary , Shelton was another opportunity to bring together organisations, charities, businesses, education, statutory services and community leaders

Great chat from Gary Morris from Voice of Hope Staffs & 5/6 new members attending today !

collaboration shouldn’t just be a buzzword-it should lead to relationships, shared resources, new opportunities and real action for young people.

With a network now connecting 100+ organisations, Stoke-on-Trent Youth Collective continues to demonstrate what can happen when we choose to work with each other rather than alongside each other.

Yesterday, the Ember Team met online to continue developing an exciting new best practice toolkit focused on working with girls! 🎉

Bringing together knowledge, experience, and a shared commitment to improving provision, the team is creating a practical resource to support practitioners in delivering meaningful, empowering, and inclusive opportunities for girls.

It’s fantastic to see this collaborative work taking shape, and we look forward to sharing more as the toolkit continues to develop!

Supporting better practice. Empowering girls. Creating lasting impact. 👏🏻

Another powerful morning bringing together organisations, youth workers, partners, and community leaders all passionate about making a difference for young people across our city. 🙌🏻

Big thanks to Stoke City Foundation for hosting this month’s networking Brekkie!

Today we heard quick introductions from each member alongside their current “ask” or area of need from other organisations. It was inspiring to hear just how much collaboration, support, and partnership is happening across Stoke-on-Trent — and how much more we can achieve together. 💥
We also heard from some brilliant guest speakers:
🗣️Aaron Northmore bringing us up to speed on all things Local Youth Transformation Pilot.
🗣️ Paul Blagrove and Kim from StreetGames encouraging organisations to get connected and join their growing network.
We then finished the morning with a fantastic catch-up and recap from all of our Purpose Driven Pod Leads 🚀
The passion, energy, and unity in these rooms every month is incredible. Together we are building stronger partnerships, bigger opportunities, and a better future for young people across Stoke-on-Trent ❤️

Over the past couple of days, members of our leadership team have been strengthening our skills through a dedicated Marketing & Communications workshop with Chatty Duck Creative 👏🏻

As we begin to shape our MarComms strategy, this has been a valuable opportunity to reflect on how we tell our story, amplify young people’s voices, and grow our impact across the City.

Exciting times ahead as we continue to build something powerful 💭✨
