The Team
Up until three three weeks the seven of us had never met. We have still not met. The team got together on What’s App and then on Facebook. I coopted my son who has taken over the website and my sister in law Mandy who also work at UHNM. We are working together as a team and everyone is putting in an enormous amount of effort and time.
I want to thank them all publically for supporting me in what was a germ of an idea after seeing a similar group on social media. They are an epic team. Today we have 1400 members on Facebook and a huge team of volunteers offering their help to sew, drive, cut and donating anything in fact they think they can help with.
We have surpassed our original target of £8500 but will carry on raising funds . As they outlying hospitals come online so does the need for more scrubs.
