Ahead of World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2026, Windmills Charity is highlighting the vital link between childhood bereavement and long-term mental health. Experiencing the terminal illness or loss of a loved one is incredibly difficult, but the right support system can protect a young person's emotional well-being.

We work across Staffordshire to ensure no child faces grief alone. By guiding schools and families through honest conversations about loss, we help build strong, resilient foundations for young minds.
