We have done it! Our King's Trust North-east delivery partner Relay Across the Region arrived at The King's Trust Centre in Newcastle this afternoon and what a journey it has been on.

Such a fantastic celebration of the 50th anniversary of The King's Trust but also testament to the great work happening with our young people right across the region, and some stunning views along the way too.

In five days we have passed the baton between six King's Trust delivery partners and 18 Team locations! And we had the sunshine nearly all the way.

Well done to all who have taken part and thanks to everyone that has given us a cheer.

It is incredible to see our King's Trust delivery partners' baton making its way to some amazing locations across the North-east.

Today it was the turn of Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service whose King's Trust delivery team has enjoyed a jam-packed day calling at some of the locations most meaningful to them.

Well done to everyone who has taken part so far. The baton is now in the hands of Newcastle United Foundation where the team will see the relay cross the finish line at The King's Trust Centre in Newcastle tomorrow!

A relay. Eighteen King’s Trust Team locations. One shared purpose.

Durham Freemasons Charity is proud to have supported The King’s Trust Relay Across the Region with an additional £1,500 grant, helping celebrate 50 years of transforming young lives.

The relay brought together young people and delivery partners from across the North East, highlighting the confidence, teamwork and community spirit that The King’s Trust inspires every day.

Our support builds on a three-year partnership through the Norman Jackson Fund, with nearly £100,000 invested in helping young people overcome barriers, develop new skills and deliver projects that make a lasting difference in communities across the province of Durham.

Our Relay Across the Region arrived at Derwentside College yesterday afternoon continuing on its journey to all our North-east Team delivery locations this week.

Team courses are all about building skills such as teamwork, planning, resilience and this challenge is certainly demonstrating all of that.

Today King's Trust Team colleagues at Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service take the baton.
