Two years ago, Thomas and I attended the Kewbz UK Open in London. While there Thomas took part in a regional cup which later inspired me to start Cubing Corner and find, or create an army of Teesside Speedcubers!! In the past 2 years I've started our library club, taught a lot of children how to solve a variety of puzzles, held local fun days, organised the first local comp in Darlington which was the first competition for my students and my first time competing. We've been in the local news and I've started a second after school club with the support of a wonderful head teacher and good friend. Now I'm working on starting a third club and attending championships myself. I even managed to get a pretty impressive time on 2x2 of 3.68 seconds which puts me pretty high in the senior category of cubers 🤪
Who knew one regional cup would create all of this!!
