Due to annual leave, our NHS Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust partners will be supporting us at the The Wellbeing Hub Stockton over the next few weeks at various times.

Please see our leaflet amd our comments section for the dates and times they will be with us.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Adult Mental Health Social Care are with us every morning.

Although rain is forecast all weekend (typical😂) we hope you have a fantastic, relaxing long weekend. Our team will be back from 8am on Tuesday morning. 💫

We had such a great day on Tuesday for the Hardwick InPartnership family fun day! ☀️

We're working together with Asda to create meals using produce from supermarkets and foodbanks, and with children, families and the Stockton-on-Tees Food Power Network using any surplus food so that we can help reduce food waste and create delicious, healthy meals on a budget. 😋

It was great to see so many people, catch up with other organisations on the day, and we hope those of you who came over enjoyed your own handmade pizza 🍕

Our friends The Moses Project are looking for volunteers, in particular at their Wednesday and Friday drop-ins. However, there are plenty of ways to volunteer if you can't spare the time on those days. 🫂

📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT THE MOSES PROJECT ❤️💙

We’re looking for some amazing people who could spare a little of their time to volunteer with us at The Moses Project.

Our Drop-In is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am–3pm, and at the moment we particularly need some extra help on Wednesdays and Fridays.

We’re especially looking for volunteers who could help in the afternoons from 1pm–4:30pm, helping with:

❤️ Clearing up after the Drop-In
🍽️ Washing up
🥫 Helping with food donations
🙌 Generally lending a hand wherever needed

Even giving us one afternoon a week would make a huge difference.

Alternatively, if you could volunteer for one full day a week from 9:30am–4:30pm, we’d absolutely love to hear from you.

Numerous council services will be visiting towns across our region, bringing services and the opportunity to speak and share about issues that matter most to you.

Don't forget our Thriving Communities tour bus will be visiting towns across the Borough, giving you the opportunity to speak with us about local services and issues that matter to you.

Come along for a chat and find out more about the new Residents Survey, health initiatives, social care support, the Local Plan, opportunities to get involved in your community, and other Council and partner services.

📍 Monday 24 August, 10am to 12noon - Ingleby Barwick, Tesco car park
📍 Monday 24 August, 2pm to 4pm - Billingham Town Centre, outside the library
📍 Tuesday 25 August, 10am to 12noon - Yarm, West Street car park
📍 Thursday 27 August, 10am to 12noon - Thornaby Town Centre, entrance to market
📍 Thursday 27 August, 2pm to 4pm - Norton High Street, Lidl car park

An in-person British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will be available at both Thornaby and Norton locations.

The Thriving Communities Bus Tours were created in response to feedback from residents and community partners, helping us better understand what matters most to communities across the Borough.

💬 As part of our "Let's Talk" commitment, the tours are a chance to hear directly from residents, share your views, and find out more about the support and opportunities available in your area.

The new and updated Stockton-on-Tees Food Power Network Community Food Leaflets are here! 📣

These leaflets list every community food option in the area, ranging from food pantries, eco-shops, Bread and Butter Things hubs and more.

Please share, print and display these leaflets wherever you like and ensure that people who need these services are aware where they are.

As provisions may change at the discretion of the organisation, we urge clients to check with the organisation to ensure the sessions are still taking place before travel
