Woodley and Romiley Towpath Team WARTT A group of volunteers with a passion for making a difference to the Woodley and Romiley section of the Peak Forest Canal towpath.

We meet once a month on the towpath to carry out towpath repairs, removal of litter, and vegetation control. The Woodley and Romiley Towpath team work along side the Canal and Rivers Trusts as part of nationwide volunteer network. It involves people coming together who value the canal system in the Woodley and Romiley, whether your a frequent dog walker, boater or just like walking along the canal

and you want to help maintain it in its all its glory. Not only will you work with people who enjoy the canal as much as you, you can also be a part of the process and see the difference you make to the area. If you're up for a little bit of work, colaberating with lovely people whilst making a difference then our actions are just the thing. Watch this space for future action days and meetings . The Woodley and Romiley Towpath team work along side the Canal and River Trust as part of nationwide volunteer network. It involves local people who value the canal system in Woodley and Romiley coming together to carry out improvements to the towpath. Whether you are a frequent dog walker, boater or just like walking or cycling along the canal and you want to help maintain it in its all its glory, WARTT is just for you. Not only will you work with people who enjoy the canal as much as you, you can also be a part of the process and see the difference you make to the area. If you're up for a little bit of work, collaborating with lovely people whilst making a difference then our action days are just the thing. Action days are generally held on the third Sunday of the monthWatch this space for future action days and meetings .
