Dave's Nature Walks πŸπŸœπŸ›

Last week some of our adult carers met up with Signpost's very own nature expert and fungal punk, Dave. They took a walk around Chadkirk to spot the different things nature had on offer - all in all they found over 102 different species, got caught in 2 rain showers and at least 1 (but probably more) scones were consumed!

This activity was perfect for a lot of our carers as it combined the getting some exercise with learning all about the nature that's right under our noses. We have another nature walk coming up in July and all those details can be found on our website!

Carers Week 2026 & Signpost for carers drop inπŸ’œ

This Carers Week, we want to recognise and thank the millions of unpaid carers who provide support to family members, friends and loved ones. Caring for someone can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging, and carers often put their own health and wellbeing last.

If you help someone who could not manage without your support due to illness, disability, frailty, mental health needs or addiction, you may be a carer.

We have Signpost for Carers at our North site on Thursday 11th June from 9.30-3pm with information about support available and ready to answer your questions! Please come along if you want more information😊
