🌈 DOUGH EXPLORERS! 🌈
✨ Let’s squish, roll, squeeze & explore! ✨
Today we’re getting creative with Dough Explorers! 👐🌈
Playdough is such a simple way to encourage little ones to: 💪 Build those little hand muscles
👐 Develop fine motor skills
👀 Explore textures
🎨 Get creative
🗣️ Build language through play
❤️ And most importantly… HAVE FUN!
🌟 COOKED PLAYDOUGH RECIPE 🌟
You’ll need:
🥣 1 cups plain flour
🧂 1/4 cup salt
🌽 1 tablespoons cream of tartar
💧 1 cups water
🥄 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
🎨 Food colouring – optional
How to make it:
1️⃣ Add all the ingredients to a saucepan.
2️⃣ Mix together until smooth.
3️⃣ Cook over a medium heat, stirring continuously.
4️⃣ Keep stirring until the mixture comes together and forms a dough.
5️⃣ Allow it to cool before kneading and exploring!
6️⃣ Add your favourite cutters, rollers and sensory resources and let the exploring begin! 🌈
