Stock and Buttsbury Heritage Society The Society was formed in 2006 by a handful of interested local folk headed by Jenny Barclay The Society has now swelled to well over 100 members.

The Society was formed in 2006 by a handful of interested local folk inspired by the work of the late Donald Jarvis, who sourced and maintained a comprehensive collection of press cuttings of items affecting Stock and district. The collection filled a considerable number of scrap books over a period of around 50 years! We hold monthly meetings, usually in Stock Village Hall, covering a variety of

subjects concerning local topics as well as family history. Visitors are very welcome. Entrance to meetings (including coffee and biscuits): £1.00 members, £3.00 visitors. Membership is open to all; the current Annual Membership is £10.00 for an individual or £20.00 for a family including children in full time education.
