Children's University Scotland

Children's University Scotland We support and encourage children aged 5-14 to engage in fun, high quality, accessible learning activities outside normal class time.

We support children, families and schools to recognise and celebrate the learning beyond the curriculum. Children’s University Scotland (also known as CU Trust Scotland) was founded in April 2013. We are a registered Scottish charity (No. SC043974) and a company limited by guarantee.

Children's University Scotland provides children with the opportunity to take part in exciting, interactive and voluntary learning activities outside of normal school hours. Our members, who are aged 5-14 are given a Passport to Learning. They use it to collect credits for fun, voluntary learning. Children's University Scotland 'signpost' our members to fun, high quality, accessible learning activities, for which they can collect credits in their Passport to Learning. Once they collect enough credits, they can collect awards at a graduation ceremony. Delivered at a local level by local partners, we engage with schools and families across Scotland to boost skills, broaden horizons and celebrate achievement.
