Thank you to all who made it along to our Open Day Fundraiser this week! It was so lovely to see familiar faces and meet new people 🫶

💯We're super excited to share the astounding total of our 10 year fundraising efforts. Thanks to everyone's generosity we've raised a huge £3845! 🎉

This amount will make such a significant difference to those we support here at Forth Valley R**e Crisis and we cannot thank you enough for your support 🙏✨

It is set to be a fun-filled day with homemade refreshments, party games, and the chance to learn more about the work we do.
It’s a great opportunity to network and support our cause while celebrating with us. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to bring your colleagues and friends along!

Our Macrame Workshop has been going so well!

The wonderful women participating are working together to create something really beautiful, and that's not just the macraweave artwork, but also the space 🧘‍♀️

Everyone has kept it safe, collaborative, and relaxing. For some this is a rare and invaluable opportunity to experience a moment of calm and the kindness of strangers. So, thank you to each of you for bringing your creativity and compassion to the workshop 💖

We can't wait to see the finished result 🧵✨

We'll be displaying the work in progress at our open day (link for info and tickets below) and the finished piece will be in the Smith Art Gallery and Museum over 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

And a big shout out to Transition Stirling for letting us make a creative mess in their boardroom! We're so grateful for your hospitality 🫶

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated!

Across our Kiltwalkers' fundraising pages, we raised an impressive total of £2206 (and even more with gift aid)! This will make such a huge difference to our survivors and we are so grateful for your generosity.

Our staff did the Edinburgh Kiltwalk as part of our 10 year campaign, and next up is our Fundraising Open Day on Tuesday 6th October 11-3.

Survivors will create a large collaborative art piece that will be featured in The Smith Art Gallery & Museum as part of an exhibit for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

🪢 We will also be making individual pieces on day 1 to 'learn the ropes' and have something to keep after the event should you wish.

Following the success of last year’s event, the Stirling Student Union is hosting this year’s Reclaim the Night march on Monday 28th September.

is a global movement calling for an end to gender-based violence and safer communities for women and marginalised genders.

Meet Stirling Castle Esplanade at 7 - 7.30pm followed by a gathering at Stirling County Rugby Football Club with speeches, a candlelit vigil and refreshments. Funds raised will support Forth Valley R**eCrisis Centre and Stirling and District Women's Aid.
