I just read about changes to motability scheme, annual mileage cut to 10,000 from 20,000 and 25p per mile excess charge. This is for new leases after July.

Motability has confirmed a series of significant changes to the Scheme from 1 July 2026, following government tax changes announced in November 2025 and rising costs. Below, we answer the key questions customers are asking and explain what the changes are likely to mean in practice.
