It’s time to take down the Christmas trees. If you can spare an hour or two, we’d love your help!

📍 Where: Steyning High Street – car park bus stop
🕤 When: This Sunday, 11th Jan @ 9:30am

If anyone can bring a long ladder, that would be incredibly helpful 🙏
We need to take down the trees, de-light and safely store the lights once they’re down.

Although the weather meant some of the weekend couldn’t go ahead as planned, the Christmas in Steyning event was still able to take place thanks to a huge collective effort.

🎄 Our Chamber members – thank you for working tirelessly to find alternative options wherever possible and for doing everything you could to keep the event running in such difficult conditions. Your dedication and resilience ensured that as much of the weekend as possible could still be enjoyed.

🛍️ Local shops & businesses – thank you for bringing warmth and shelter to the High Street and welcoming visitors throughout the weekend.

🙌 Volunteers – your time, flexibility, and steady support made the event possible.

🎁 Stall holders & makers – thank you for the preparation, care, and festive spirit you put into being part of this event.

🏡 The local community – we’re grateful for your support and for coming together, even when the circumstances were far from ideal.

And a sincere thank you to our event partners, performers, sponsors, and everyone working behind the scenes for your efforts in helping bring the weekend to life.

Even with its challenges, the event was strengthened by the commitment and goodwill of so many.

Good news — the event IS going ahead!
Due to the weather, and just like last year, we won’t be able to have gazebos. Because of this, some traders sadly won’t be able to join us, and we’re really sorry about that. ❤️

But don’t worry — there’s still plenty of festive fun waiting for you!
✨ Some wonderful stalls will still be trading
🎠 The fairground will be open
🎶 Entertainment to keep the spirits bright
🍭 Delicious food stalls
🎅 Father Christmas’ magical Grotto
🛍️ And of course, your High Street shops will be open with festive cheer!

So wrap up warm, bring an umbrella, and come enjoy the Christmas in Steyning!

The excitement is building! On Sunday 7th December (12–6pm), our High Street will sparkle with music, food, stalls, rides, and festive fun for the whole family.
