🎄✨ Christmas & New Year Opening Hours ✨🎄

Just a wee update to keep everyone in the loop over the festive period…

❌ Closed:
• Christmas Day
• Boxing Day

That’s it — only 2 days closed! 💪

🥳 New Year Opening
Due to customer demand, we’re trialling opening on New Year’s Day and 2nd January for a few hours:

🕙 10am – 2pm

We’ll be running a reduced menu with:
🌭 Hot filled rolls
☕ Coffee & hot drinks
🍰 Cakes

Perfect for curing the hangover, walking the dog, escaping the house for a breather, family catch-ups, or giving the screaming weans a run around the park for an hour 😂🐕🎉

Want to escape the hustle and bustle of Christmas and come and chill with us. Beautiful scenery, amazing coffee and low decor. Kids needing to burn off allergy we have the amazing park right beside us. We also have the amazing raffle for the new year hamper which will be drawn on the 2nd January 2026.

We’ve been very kindly donated a fabulous Christmas hamper by our friends at North Ayrshire Council – Family Centred Wellbeing Service, and we’re delighted to raffle it off to one lucky winner! 💛

Everyone who enters will have their name added to a random generator, with the winner being drawn on 2nd January 🗓️✨

We’ve had so many folk asking lately… so we’re putting the question out there:

Would you be interested in buying our amazingly popular bakes as whole cakes for Christmas? 🎂😍

Suzy’s got the baking equipment ready to roll, and we’re looking at offering:

🍰 Victoria Sponge (8") – whole cake (8 -12 portions)
🟫 Old School Traybakes – Both iced and Jam/Coconut whole tray or pre-cut into 18 pieces
🍋 Lemon Drizzle Cake – whole cake or pre-cut into 8 pieces
🌱 Vegan Brownies – whole tray or pre-cut

PLUS… we can also make mixed cake boxes if you fancy a bit of everything for your Christmas table! 🎁

And don’t forget — our other regular cakes will be available to pre-order too.

🎉 New Year’s Day at the Hub? We Need You to Decide! 🎉

We’re looking at the possibility of opening the Hub/Café on the 1st of January from 10am–2pm… but before we make a decision, we want to know what you think! 💬

🎄🧶 Knit & Natter Christmas Fayre! 🧶🎄

Our wonderful Knit & Natter group have been busy stitching, chatting and creating — and now they’re ready to show off their amazing handmade crafts! 💫

Come along, browse their beautiful knitted gifts, festive crafts and homemade goodies — all while supporting a fantastic group of local crafters who are raising funds for charity ❤️

☕ And if you fancy joining the fun, the Knit & Natter crew meet every Wednesday, 10–11am, right here in The Hub. Bring your yarn, your chat, and enjoy a cuppa with some lovely company.

🚧 Travel Update for This Weekend 🚧

Just a quick heads up for anyone planning a trip to the beach or visiting us at the café! Due to work being carried out at the train station level crossing, vehicle access from the town centre past the station gates will be closed both Saturday and Sunday.

However – you can still get to us! 🚙
Vehicles should access the beach area via Cemetery Road and down Dubbs Road instead.

👣 Pedestrian access is still open via a temporary bridge, so walkers can come through as normal.

We’ll be open as usual and would love to see you. It’s only a small detour, and your support means the world to us 💛

🎆 We’re Heading to Kilwinning Fireworks Night! 🎆

Hey everyone! We’re excited to let you know that we’ll be out and about tomorrow at Kilwinning’s Fireworks Event, serving up your favourite Nevis Coffee and more from our barista trailer! ☕✨

📍 Find us at McGavin Park from 11:30am onwards – perfect for a lunchtime cake/coffee or a warming hot drink if you’re off work, school, or college in Kilwinning. Swing by and say hi!

• 🚗 No street parking around the park – it’s a residential area.
Public parking in Woodwynd is not recommended due to congestion.
• 🅿️ Arriving early? Try parking at Town Centre/College or
McLuckie Park (Ashgrove Road into Station parking) and walk over.

Suggested donation: £6 per adult / £12 per family.
🔌 Phones might not work well due to crowds – bring cash!
