Darcie's Wish

Darcie's Wish Raising funds and awareness into supporting bereaved families when they endure. We raise funds to help support lister maternity unit. Darcie Angel 03.10.14

On 24th September 2014 our life was flipped upside down... We went for our 20 week scan and to be told our baby, our baby girl Darcie has severe abnormalities- Edwards Syndrome. Why isn't there more information to expectant mums to be? It doesn't just affect the parents- it affects the whole family. Grief stricken we won't be taking our baby home, and instead we are burying her, we decided to be p

ro active- to use our beautiful baby girls name to help spread as much awareness about Edwards as possible. Darcie's wish is give everyone a chance to shine ❤️

Our objectives:

1- Our first goal is to raise £5000 and become a UK registered charity- so far we have nearly £2000
2- To raise awareness on Edwards Syndrome (Trisomy 18) this is the UK's second biggest syndrome, yet not many people have heard of it.
3- To work closely with the Lister hospital and help support other mummys and daddys who may be faced with leaving the hospital without their baby.
4- To raise enough money to help the mother who may have been affected by T18 previously to have the Harmony blood test- which can pick up abnormalities in the chromosome's by week 10! and not having to have to go to week 20
5- To let little Darcie's name live on. Please help support this cause, Darcie's wish is that no other family has to suffer
