We are looking to hear from those who have used the service since Christmas, over the last 3months.

What were your wait times?
What was your experience of the clinic?
How was your infant feeding support?
If you can let us know who made the referral - GP/Health Visitor/Midwife etc that is also very useful information.
We will continue to fight on your behalf for a better service as we know the current service is failing you, the service user & wait times are far longer than they should be.

The new maternity triage entrance is now in use, at the front of maternity in front of the disabled car parking spaces. The signage is now in place so easy to spot.

This is for service users attending triage, only. If requiring access to other parts of maternity or the main hospital please continue to use the main maternity entrance or main hospital entrance.

I am pleased to announce that as of next Monday 18/03/24, we will be welcoming a designated phlebotomist to the fold at New QE2.
We have secured funding through pathology to offer our pregnant women & people who receive their care at QE2 the same phlebotomy service that we have been offering at Lister for the past few years for booking bloods, GTT's and Screening tests. The phlebotomist will be in attendance from 8am to 1pm Monday to Friday, within our antenatal clinic.
This is fantastic for our women/people as it will mean that they wont need to go down to the pathology department and wait for hours as they currently do, and will also take some of the pressure off of the path lab as they will have less people attending there for bloods. New pathology staff have been recruited so this is good news all round.

Have you seen the news about the change in early losses?
Parents can now apply for certificates.
Tommy's - The government have launched their scheme which enables parents of babies lost before 24 weeks of pregnancy to apply for a certificate of loss. Providing bereaved parents with the opportunity to recognise their experience more formally was one of the commitments in the government’s response to the independent Pregnancy Loss Review.
