Today, as part of Volunteers Week, we feature none other than our Trustees.

The Trustees of the INS are proud volunteers who actively engage with communities through networking, partnership-building, and representation at a wide range of civic, cultural, and community events. These occasions have provided valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships and promote community cohesion while welcoming distinguished guests and stakeholders.

Over the years, INS events and activities have been attended and supported by representatives from the Irish Embassy and High Commissions, members of the diaspora community, local Members of Parliament, Councillors, Mayors, and High Sheriffs. Through these engagements, the Trustees have fostered meaningful connections, encouraged collaboration, and championed initiatives that celebrate diversity, inclusion, and community service.

The photographs capture just a small snapshot of the Trustees' ongoing commitment to volunteering, community leadership, and building bridges between communities and public institutions. Their dedication continues to contribute positively to civic life, creating opportunities for dialogue, partnership, and mutual understanding across all sectors of society.

All of this, as well as meeting Ireland’s President recently ……. Our Volunteers really are a busy bunch.

Hope to see you all there today.
