We run fortnightly group sessions to provide a safe space where 8 to 18 year-old carers can just have fun and take a break from their caring role. We welcome referrals for children from Stevenage and North Hertfordshire. Get i

April 2026 - 2nd session:

Thank you to for an amazing session with the young carers. It was lovely to work with John and Caz! The young people really enjoyed themselves and I know that they all found it very therapeutic and good for their wellbeing to create some artwork together. They’re excited to see the telecoms box when it’s painted in Symonds Green. It was amazing listening to the young people speak about what the word ‘connection’ means to them.

Thank you to .ncc1701, our newest trustee, for coming along and visiting our session and taking part in creating art!

April 2026 - 1st session:

We had an interesting third session with ! Thank you to and Maja for running the session for us. The young carers explored different movements together for pause, rewind, fast forward and stop. They also had a chance to experiment with Origami; personally I was proud that I managed to make a paper fox using coloured card.

I wanted to personally thank the lovely people at for their very very kind donations of Easter eggs to the young carers. It was genuinely a lovely surprise when they turned up at our session this week with just over 80 eggs for the young carers. It meant that every one of our young carers could take an Easter egg home for their parents, siblings and most importantly themselves ❤️❤️!! Thank you ☺️☺️!!

March 2026 - 2nd session:

We had a great second session with . Thank you to and Maja for running it. The young carers enjoyed creating a starling cardboard outline using tissue paper and glue. They then took it in turns to make them fly through the air and do different movements. The results were amazing.
