2026 Event Cancellation Notice:
We regret to communicate that the Windermere & Ambleside Lions Club has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Lakes Classic Vehicle Show in Staveley, and postpone the event to 2027.
We have been notified that United Utilities will be carrying out essential maintenance works to improve the main sewer network in the village and on the Staveley Recreation Ground during the planned event period this year. Unfortunately, this means we cannot guarantee the usual standard, safety, and experience of the show.
To give exhibitors and visitors sufficient time to make alternative arrangements, we feel it is best to make this decision now rather than closer to the event date.
We sincerely apologise for any disappointment this may cause and thank you for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you in 2027.
Our next Charity Classic Vehicle Show will take place on Sunday, 20th June 2027.
