Heckington Model Railway Club & Museum
Although a model railway club has existed in the former Heckington railway station booking office virtually since the building became redundant , in its current form the club was started in 2004 by David Pagan and John Clarke who initially built a oo layout. Since that time the club has expanded ,and now has a OO and an N gauge layout representing Heckington

as it was in the 1950’s ,with another layout under construction ,and further improvements planned for later in the year. The model railway club operates under the umbrella of The Heckington Village Trust ,and later this year will become the headquarters of this organization. Anyone wishing to explore membership of the club and who feels they can contribute a useful skill or railway interest should visit the club during its weekly gathering. The Model Railway Club comes under the Umbrella of Heckington Village Trust and the Heckington Station Building is now the home address for the Village Trust.
