If you're out and about this Sunday evening supporting the fantastic Tractor Run 2025, keep an ear out for The Staplehurst Bellringers ringing the bells of All Saints Church Staplehurst for the 7pm Nine Lessons and Carols Service. Why not stop by and join in with some of your favourites!

As Christmas is a busy time of year in the church, the bells will be ringing for the additional festive services. As always, details about any extra ringing outside our normal Tuesday evening practice can be found on our website. https://bells.allsaintsstaplehurst.co.uk/

On Sunday afternoon All Saints Staplehurst will be hosting a Deanery Confirmation Service. Ringing prior to the service is planned between 2.15pm and 3pm, any ringers making the trip to Staplehurst or fancy a ring with us would be most welcome. Please do get in touch!

There were eighteen ringers in the tower for ringing practice at All Saints' Staplehurst this evening. Ringing for all levels of bellringer was catered for, from rounds on six bells to Grandsire Caters and Cambridge Major.

Staplehurst Bellringers practice on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm - 9:15pm and ring from 9:15am - 10:00am on Sunday mornings, visitors are always very welcome.

Anyone can become a bell ringer, young or old, tall or short. So long as you are capable of climbing the stairs to the ringing room, you can become a bell ringer. Please do get in touch if you'd like to learn a little more about bellringing!

Today, All Saints' Church, Staplehurst, hosted a course run by The Association of Ringing Teachers (ART). Twelve ringers from across Kent attended the course, learning some of the skills to become ringing teachers. Thank you Rebecca for running the course and for making the day so enjoyable for everyone!

Those of you in Staplehurst may have noticed that, after six months being covered in scaffolding, the tower of All Saints' has at last been revealed again!

Thanks to the generosity of the Staplehurst Community, The National Churches Trust, The Friends of Kent Churches, The Friends of All Saints’ and other funders for making it possible to preserve our historic church.

There is a little more funding to be raised but the PCC are in discussion with a possible funder over one final grant. When everything is clear the PCC will let the community know.

Staplehurst Bellringers rang All Saints' Church Bells to accompany the Weald of Kent Young Farmer's Tractor Parade before the service of Nine Lessons and Carols this evening.

45 tractors, all fantastically decorated with Christmas lights, drove past All Saints' Church on their tour of the Wealden villages of Goudhurst, Cranbrook, Staplehurst and Marden.

The Tractor Parade is raising money for Kent Air Ambulance and donations can be made through their JustGiving page below:

Listen out for the bells of All Saints’ church this Sunday. The bells will be rung half muffled in unison with churches and cathedrals in villages, towns and cities across the UK to mark Remembrance Sunday.

The Remembrance Parade will leave the Village Centre at 10.15am and march to All Saints Church where the War Memorial is located. A Service of Remembrance at All Saints commences at 10.45am.

You are welcome to Parade without attending the Service, and likewise, attend the Service without marching.

Good morning from the tower.

Due to restricted access to the tower during part of the works on the roof, our bells have been silent for the past month.
