Rural Read is a relaxed and friendly monthly book group. Our reading choices are made together and cover a wide range of genres from Booker nominees to chic lit, historical and modern, fiction and non-fiction.

Discussions focus on how each book makes us feel, but conversations often wander into life, shared experiences, and whatever sparks interest on the day. There’s no pressure and no right or wrong opinions - just open, enjoyable conversation.

Meetings are informal and welcoming, with good coffee, biscuits, and cake.
