Raising the roof for Stamford in developing a community hub for all

Our roof repairs are complete and are looking amazing! A big thank you to Giles Longbone and John Robottom for their excellent craftsmanship. This work marks a significant step in the rejunvenation of the centre to achieve our vision to become community hub for all. The centre is currently used by over 300 local children and adults on a weekly basis and is most notably the home of the Stamford Foodbank as well as a number of children’s groups. Having already welcomed support from South Kesteven District Council, Stamford Round Table and the Skells Trust, we are now actively investigating further grant aid and funding opportunities to develop the centre in the future. Our aim is to provide upgraded facilities including disabled access, a proper catering kitchen and co-working space for local businesses and charities.
