We’ve had lots of new followers recently, so we thought we’d re-introduce ourselves.

Bumps & Beyond is a Stamford-based charity that provides parents and carers with clothing and equipment to help take some of the expense out of parenting. We help local families in need - you can be referred to us by other organisations (social services, maternity & childcare services, food bank) or self-refer by contacting us if you are going through a period of crisis. We support families across Rutland, South Kesteven, Peterborough and surrounding areas. We will always do what we can to help.

We also encourage local families to re-use and recycle children’s clothing and equipment as we have a display room where anyone can buy pre-loved clothing & equipment for children aged 0-10 years. You don’t need an appointment, just turn up when we are open. After you have completed a quick registration form you can browse and buy items, like in a charity shop. The only difference is ALL of our items are for maternity, babies and children. Most things don’t have a price on - we ask that you donate what you can afford to help us fund our charity. Some of our larger items have a suggested donation.

We also accept donations of pre-loved items, such as clothes and baby equipment. See our poster for a full list of items we can accept.

We accept both cash and card.

We are open:
Tuesday: 9:30am–1:30pm
Thursday: 9:30am–1:30pm
Friday: 9:30am–2:30pm

We have free parking on site. Just scan the QR code when you arrive.

We’re a friendly, welcoming space and everyone is welcome: parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, carers and anyone shopping for little ones. Whether you’ve been coming to us for years or you’re thinking of visiting for the first time, you’re very welcome at Bumps & Beyond. 💛

We recently had the pleasure of hosting the lovely Karen Jackson from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) for a day of corporate volunteering. What a laugh we had 😂 Thank you so much Karen for your hard work and enthusiasm and thank you CIPS for loaning Karen to us for the day. We hope to see you again next time.
