What a great first rehearsal! We had 3 new people last night and some more coming next week so hurry along while there are still enough chairs (that’s in jest we have plenty of chairs).
We have our music and along with Matthew Coleridge’s Requiem we are also doing a number of other pieces including Faure’s Cantique de Jean Racine and Rutter’s The Lord Bless You and Keep You 😊
It was lovely to catch up and have a chat with each other after the long break!
It’s going to be a really fun term so do come and join us next week. Sean Bui Music Our Lady of the Rosary School

It's tonight!

First rehearsal of the new term. New music to collect. Catch up time with all our friends we haven't seen all summer (and some we have). New piece to learn (and some we've sung before?) Will definitely be fun!

Come and join us at Our Lady of the Rosary School Park Avenue, Staines TW18 2EF from 7.30-9.30pm this and every Monday. Plenty of parking in the front car park and then walk round past the sportsfield to the hall entrance. Make yourself known to one of the choir and we'll introduce you and find you a seat in your section.

We look forward to seeing members old and new tonight :)

We would love to welcome you to our choir. No auditions and you can come along any Monday if you can't make the 7th September. Get in touch or just come along. There's a car park and plenty of friendly Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses waiting to welcome you.
There’s an increasing amount of evidence that singing releases endorphins, serotonin and dopamine – the ‘happy’ chemicals that boost your mood and make you feel good about yourself. Scientists believe that’s one of the reasons why people report being on a high during choir sessions and continuing to feel positive, uplifted and motivated afterwards. [source: Opera North]

We've got our scores for this term and had a sing through some of the Vaughan Williams 'Five Mystical Songs' and they are a real change from the Bach last term!
It's looking like a super concert in July - update on that coming soon. We're always happy to welcome new singers at Our Lady of the Rosary School in Staines on Monday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm. Come along or email [email protected] with any questions 🎶.
