FACT At the moment our activities are primarily ‘RE days’ in primary schools or ‘Time to Wonder’ which happens in both churches and schools.

FACT works with Children where they are, in community groups, Preschools & Churches to enable self-reflection, discovery & expressions of faith appropriate to the individual FACT has worked in primary schools since 1996 leading assemblies (Collective Acts of Worship) and supporting their teaching of RE through classroom activity and Inset-training opportunities for teachers. We have researched, de

veloped, and pioneered both of these which have proved to be extremely popular with both children and staff as they are cross-curricular and multi-media. However, we seek to be at the forefront of Children’s ministry, taking risks and exploring where, and how, God might minister next. All of what we do is designed for children of all abilities focusing on either a specific topic or providing a valuable opportunity for children to simply “be”. Whilst our work unpacks a lot of what the Christian faith has to offer to these children we are fully inclusive allowing children to explore what is relevant to them in their own understanding of the world. Over the years the number of schools has grown, so that today over 25 schools have contact with us, including Short Stay Schools and Special Needs Schools, predominantly in Surrey and Middlesex but we also visit schools in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. A key reason for this is our focus on developing relationships with the schools we work in enabling us to work with them in several key areas. We also Work with Foundation stage and younger children. Simon works in pre-school settings which include Parent & Toddler groups, nurseries and playgroups. These are all visited to aid and nurture spiritual development and exploration. This forms a key part of our ministry working to further the children’s spiritual development but also to provide a space for the adults with them to explore their own beliefs.

FACT aims to be cutting edge in children’s ministry, enabling children to explore the Christian faith and Jesus Christ with opportunities to reflect on them in a way that is relevant to their age and development. FACT: Over 23 years of experience working with children from 0 -11yrs. FACT has worked in primary schools since 1996 leading Collective Acts of Worship (Assemblies) and supporting their teaching of RE through classroom activity and inset-training opportunities for teachers. We have worked in over 25 schools, predominantly in Surrey and Middlesex but we also visit schools in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Our activities are designed for children of all abilities. Some focus on a specific topic; others offer time for exploration and reflection on the Christian faith and provide a valuable opportunity for children to simply “be”. In recent years we have created and run our ‘Time to Wonder’ project as a joint venture between schools and churches. Over fifteen hundred children have taken part in these reflective, discovery times. We also work with the Foundation stage and younger children. We work in pre-school settings which include Parent & Toddler groups, nurseries and playgroups. These are visited to aid and nurture spiritual development and exploration. This forms a key part of our ministry working to further the children’s spiritual development but also to provide a space for the adults with them to explore their own beliefs. Schools work is currently being rested while a new project is created and run called, Time to Share at Home.’ For further information on any of these schemes and projects please get in touch to discuss how we might be able to aid you with the spiritual development of children.
