Time to Share at Home
FACT aims to be cutting edge in children’s ministry, enabling children to explore the Christian faith and Jesus Christ with opportunities to reflect on them in a way that is relevant to their age and development. FACT: Over 23 years of experience working with children from 0 -11yrs. FACT has worked in primary schools since 1996 leading Collective Acts of Worship (Assemblies) and supporting their teaching of RE through classroom activity and inset-training opportunities for teachers. We have worked in over 25 schools, predominantly in Surrey and Middlesex but we also visit schools in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Our activities are designed for children of all abilities. Some focus on a specific topic; others offer time for exploration and reflection on the Christian faith and provide a valuable opportunity for children to simply “be”. In recent years we have created and run our ‘Time to Wonder’ project as a joint venture between schools and churches. Over fifteen hundred children have taken part in these reflective, discovery times. We also work with the Foundation stage and younger children. We work in pre-school settings which include Parent & Toddler groups, nurseries and playgroups. These are visited to aid and nurture spiritual development and exploration. This forms a key part of our ministry working to further the children’s spiritual development but also to provide a space for the adults with them to explore their own beliefs. Schools work is currently being rested while a new project is created and run called, Time to Share at Home.’ For further information on any of these schemes and projects please get in touch to discuss how we might be able to aid you with the spiritual development of children.
