For those that braved the chilly weather before the rain came, we had a great morning at Muckworms! 🌿🐛

The children loved bug hunting through rotten old logs, with lots of digging, banging and poking leading to discoveries of spiders, woodlice, grubs, worms and plenty of other creepy crawlies. Safe to say the kids absolutely loved it! 🕷️🪱

The radishes were cleared to make way for our parsnips, and the chickens were all fed and watered, with eggs collected too. 🐓🥚

A lovely busy morning outdoors despite the cold weather!

We’ve had a really busy few weeks at Muckworms! The weather has been lovely, giving us lots of opportunities to play and explore outdoors.

The children have been busy fishing out all the dirty rubbish to help clean up the sea, and they’ve had so much fun playing with our new sand funnel set that Len kindly built for us.

All our plants are growing beautifully, with the wisteria looking absolutely glorious in the sunshine. We’ve also welcomed lots of lovely new visitors, groups, and wonderful volunteers over the past few weeks.
