MSA U9s ground out two incredibly hard-fought draws today.

The highlight being a spectacular comeback from 2 goals down, securing an equaliser with the very last kick of the game! 💪🙌

In recent weeks, fine margins might have seen these games slip away. But today, the lads dug deep, worked their socks off, and showed the grit required to bring home two well-deserved results. It’s all part of the learning curve, and they are adapting, improving, and stepping up to the level required.

🏆 Parents’ Player: William 🧤

A tough decision today, but William was the standout pick. Not only did he pull off some top-class saves, but his brilliant distribution was the starting point for so many of our attacks.

🏆 Coaches’ Player: George 🛡️

An absolute rock at the back! George didn't get beaten once today. What really stood out was his confidence to move with the ball from goal kicks and his excellent forward passing.

Incredible character on display today, boys. We move on! 👏💪🟢⚫️⚽️

The boys showed real quality today. Battled hard, played the right way and got the result they deserved.

Onwards and upwards lads - this is just the beginning! 🚀

Still a great win for the Onyx boys. Character, work rate, and togetherness from the first whistle.

A decent morning’s work for MSA U9s! ⚽️

After defeat in their opening game—where fine margins and lost individual battles made the difference—the boys were challenged to win their duels in the second match. They responded brilliantly, grinding out a hard-fought victory and setting a fantastic benchmark of hard work to build on.

🏆 Parents’ Player: Henry

The step up in intensity from Henry in our second game was noticeable and key to the victory💪💪 Well done, Henry!

🏆 Coaches’ Player: William

While it could have gone to a few players today, William took the honours. He commanded his area, communicated well with his defense, and rushed out quickly whenever he was needed. 👏👏

A tough outing for the MSA U9s today, dropping both results after struggling to match the high-intensity standards we've seen lately. It's a learning curve, but we’ll bounce back stronger!

Coach’s Player: Logan 🌟

He has been impressive since pre-season, and he continued his brilliant run of good form with another good performance today.

Parents’ Player: Finn 👏

Voted best on ground by the parents and topped it off by getting his name on the scoresheet!
