Today we welcomed Dave and the team from Stafford Walton Phoenix to the Tuesday Mixer Club.

They gave a great talk about the many groups and activities they offer for over 50s across the borough, from exercise and tech classes to day trips and plenty more.

It was really interesting and informative for our Mixers to hear about what else is available locally and discover other groups and activities they might like to join.

A big thank you to Dave and the team for coming along and telling us all about Stafford Walton Phoenix.

Join us on Tuesday 11th August from 1.00pm to 3.30pm for another enjoyable afternoon at the Over 55's Tuesday Mixer Club at The White Eagle Club, Riverway, Stafford.

This week's guest speaker is Valerie, who will be be sharing the fascinating story of the Canary Girls of World War I and World War II, the courageous women whose work played a vital role in Britain's war effort.
Also in the foyer this week is Julie from Jackson Perry Legal Services Ltd, who will be available for an informal chat and to answer any legal questions you may have.
The Tuesday Mixer Club is open to anyone aged 55 and over. If you're coming on your own, our Buddy Programme is available to help you feel welcome from your very first visit.
